Participation in the Alburnett Archery Club is open to Alburnett students in grades 4 through 12.
We welcome students of all experience and skill levels—whether you're brand new to archery or have years of experience, there's a place for you on our team.
Registration
Our registration will open in mid-October.
All equipment is provided, though archers may use their own NASP-compliant gear.
What to Expect
The season runs from November through March, with practices held twice a week at 180 N Troy Rd, Robins.
Beginning in January, Alburnett Archery participates in several tournaments at local area schools.
We participate in both Bullseye and 3D tournaments:
- Bullseye involves shooting at standard circular targets from 10 and 15 meters.
- 3D involves shooting at life-sized foam animal targets placed at varying distances.
Archers may choose to compete in one or both formats, depending on their interests and comfort levels.
Participation in tournaments is optional. Archers may choose to compete in as many or as few as they like. However, to be eligible for State competition, an archer must participate in at least three tournaments in the format for which they wish to qualify (Bullseye and/or 3D).
